This WB5acDish-PRO 5 GHz 14-Miles PTP PTMP Wireless Bridge delivers stable wireless connection between devices point-to-point and point-to-point-to multi-point. Built to link existing network to or from remote sites to the main network where wired connections aren’t feasible. Eliminates the need for laying physical cables, which can be expensive and time-consuming (especially over long distances or difficult terrain).

When setup as a point-to-point wireless bridge, device can link Building-A network to or from Building-B located about 14-miles away [Example: Linking a school’s main building to its gym or sports complex 14-miles away]. And in point-to-multipoint connection operating mode, device can link Building-A network to multiple buildings within the proximity of 14-miles of Building-A [Example: Main bridge connects to multiple remote bridges or clients].

Uses license-free 5 GHz bands to avoid congestion in the 2.4 GHz range and equipped with poe adapter power supply and optional 12vdc power input. Can connect remote IP cameras to a central recording or monitoring system, beneficial for construction sites, events, or emergency response team temporary network, ideal for scenarios where two separate LANs need to share resources or internet connectivity.

Setting up this device is simple, basic point-to-point connection setup only requires designating one of the device as the master which must connect existing network router, modem or switch while the second device gets the client role. Press master device RESET button to pair device with existing network router or modem first, then press both master and client RESET button simultaneously to pair both devices.
